Reporting to Parents
At Holy Trinity C of E Primary School we have an “Open Door” policy with teaching staff available at the end of the school day. If however, you wish to speak to a member of staff or the Head of School at a different time please contact the school office to make a mutually convenient time.
We are committed to fulfilling our statutory obligation in reporting to parents as we believe it is vitally important in developing positive relationships with parents.
At the beginning of each academic year we have a “Meet the Teacher” session in which the curriculum is outlined along with a general overview of the school routines.
We hold "Meet the Teacher" meeting in the Autumn (Term 1) and individual parent consultations in Spring (Term 3) terms to discuss children’s progress and to set future aspirational targets. Written progress reports are completed in the Summer (Term 6) term, on which you and your child can comment if you wish. In addition to the above, we offer regular information sessions to parents on subjects such as Phonics, “Big Write” and Mathematics.
